Mascot

The official mascot of the team was revealed on 2 November 2011 after online voting on the team's official facebook page. It is currently nicknamed the "Cricketer from the year 2020" and its official name will be decided later. 2 other potential mascots were up for voting: "Renegade Knight" and "Mr Attitude" but the "cricketer" received the most number of votes and was declared as the official mascot.[3][4]

The mascot has been described as the future of cricket. He comes from the year 2020 and wears industrial gear clad in corrugated shin pads and a futuristic helmet that hides his true identity.[5]
